Find a Thesis

Hard copies of both MA and STB theses are currently held in the Seminary Archives (Room 185 in the Souvay Memorial Library).

  • MA theses are bound and shelved together, arranged in alphabetical order by the author's last name.
  • STB theses are likewise kept in alphabetical order by the author, but in archival files as they are unbound.
  • Hard copies of theses are available upon request for in-library consultation only.  Please speak to a librarian or fill out our contact form if you would like to view a thesis.

Theses Online?

Unfortunately, at this time, Kenrick theses are not available online.  The library retains digital copies of all theses from 2021 onward, and can supply PDF copies upon request.

  • In partnership with the MOBIUS Consortium, the Souvay Memorial Library will be adopting a digital repository (Hyku) in the 2023-24 academic year.  In the future, all completed theses will be uploaded there, and PDFs of earlier theses will also be uploaded.
  • Unless a seminarian specifically requests an embargo, theses will be accessible online and findable in our library discovery service ("SouvaySearch").
  • Our ultimate goal is to digitize all Kenrick theses, including some going back to the 1970s, for inclusion in the repository.
